It was supposed to be an easy assignment. Go undercover and befriend Bo Richards’ wife to find out if she’s having an affair. Only, Tess Richards doesn’t seem like the type. Sure, she’s pregnant, hormonal, and belongs to a spicy book club, but the odds of having a baby after Bo’s vasectomy aren’t completely unheard of, right?
That is, until Connor walks in.
Bo’s brother and my recent nemesis.
Do I believe Connor is underhanded enough to betray his own brother? Yes.
Is it possible that I’m biased? You betcha.
Landscaper by trade, Connor Richards is blue-collar fit and effortlessly handsome. Everything that gets under my skin. The fact that he treats his adorable twin nieces like princesses only adds to my suspicions. He and Tess are close. Could there be more to their relationship than meets the eye?
Looks like I’ll have to stick around longer than expected in order to get to the bottom of the Richards family secrets. Let’s hope some of my own little white lies don’t catch up to me along the way.
